This section lists past gpl-violations.org related events. At the Linux Bangalore 2004 conference (Bangalore, India), Harald will give a presentation on GPL licensing and GPL enforcement.
At the 2004 BerLinux, Harald will
present the success story of the gpl-violations.org project and discuss
licensing issues during a presentation entitled The netfilter/iptables project, so far leading the line of copyright holder enforcing the GPL license, discussed their strategy on GPL violations during the 3rd annual netfilter developer workshop.
At the Ottawa Linux Symposium
2004, the most important Linux developer conference, Harald Welte
presented his GPL enforcement success and the gpl-violations.org project during the At the Wizards of OS 3 conference, Harald participated in a discussion panel on the future of copyright, presenting his view on the GPL and enforcement of copyleft-style licenses. At the 20th Chaos Communication Congress, Berlin (Germany), Harald Welte has given a presentation about the his best current practice in reverse-engineering of Linux-based firmware images.
